Linguists knowledgeable in Indian languages have identified that the Romani speak a Rajasthani originating language with a few Panjabi unique words in addition. There are also similar finds when looking into culture, lore and dress.

Now we are finding that even through their music the same story is unfolding. The Thar desert is a vast region covering much of Rajasthan and into the southern parts of the Panjab.
