Egypt's president-elect takes 'symbolic oath'

Egypt is preparing to swear in its new president. Before his official inauguration, however, Mohamed Morsi took matters into his own hands, taking a symbolic oath in front of the people. The president-elect read the symbolic oath in front of tens of thousands of supporters in Cairo's Tahrir Square. The move is seen as a direct challenge to the country's military rulers. Al Jazeera's Sherine Tadros reports from Cairo.

Many non-reasonable people thinks MB came so they will take Egypt into the middle ages. Egypt is a great country, always was and always will be. MB aren't as bad and even if so they came only 4 years and will leave, while Egypt is here taking it's place strongly and will never leave! Not to mention, the military council (which has the upper hand here) promised that it will never allow anybody to "change the features of Egypt or turn it into Afghanistan and will strongly protect the Civil State".
