Why can't we just love them both? original and this one! I first heard this song when i was having a drink on a summer night out...that was two years ago and since music is always attached to my memories, it's already part of my life.

After watching these videos and listening to this talentless bunch butcher some of the songs i love, i REALLY need to listen to the Smiths, URGENTLY before my ears start to bleed.

I disagree with you there, i just finished listening to the original version and I enjoyed this Nouvelle more. It's just all a matter of preference.
