"the beast" fast Subaru WRX

My dads toy! A WRX I call it the beast. On a little road in Huntsville AR.
He actually welded the clutch together after this last pass, it was rated at 700hp. He stopped and putt it in first just before it cooled down from slipping almost the whole pass, and pretty much welded the double disks and the pressure plate to the flywheel. had to drive the 5miles back to the house in first, you can just imagine the attention we got trying to keep speed in traffic with the dump wide open!

i don't think you could get a clutch hot enough to weld it without it coming apart at those rpm's. i'm gunna have to say something else had to fail so the clutch didn't work. doubt the plates actually melted together. but still cool video
