My wife just gave her Jason Lee Blind deck to our nephew. He has no idea who Lee is, he just liked the deck and the hardware that my wife had switched out on it was boss and impossible to find now. I'm guessing it might have been a very Merry Christmas if she had sold it? Never thought to price it before she wrapped it up, I think I'll go do that now ...just out of curiosity, of course. I'm not gonna ask the kid for it back. I'm a prick, but I'm not that big of a prick..

My wife's best friend pulled out of his team for the same reason. He makes decent money now doing "skate cam" footage like Lance Mountain.

He gave it a good go, but when the third huge hospital bill came in that the team's benefits wouldn't pay because he, "should have reasonably forseen the injury that occurred due to his actions" he realized that if his team wouldn't get proper coverage for what they were asking him to do they couldn't be that concerned about him.
