Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's VERY IMPORTANT teaching given in 1998.

The heart of Buddhist wisdom in eight short verses, elucidated by a fearless pioneer of contemporary Dharma.

Unconditional love and freedom are here and now if we let go of self-centred obsession and let ourselves be embraced by WHAT IS.

The very life we are living, with all its difficulties, failures and frustrations, can be the road to liberation. The world can be our school of transformation. Everybody becomes our best friend. We become our own best friend.

Deeper and deeper, from learning to cherish all beings as precious, to realising that those we perceived as enemies are our supreme teachers, the teachings in this book take us, into our innermost heart where we discover that we are the light we have been longing for.

  • Dzambala, Dzambala, Dzambala - we all need one as we need to have dharma wealth to overcome the shortcomings of this life. Lord Dzambala's practice is efficacious in cutting out miserliness.

  • What I love the most would be Migtsema! They begin with Migtsema before they start the respective pujas.

  • I am going with you frozbyte! I am very interested in this Dzambala Pujas. I have been to Setrap puja and Medicine Puja which is so nice and interesting! There is just so many rituals to learn!

  • Wow! What a beautiful chant! I just checked the kecharahouse(dot)com site and they have Dzambala Pujas at KH2 at 8 pm!!! Who wants to join me?

  • healingsbuddha: when you hold your refuge vows and practice the 8 verses it's a 2 in 1 thing so it gives more positive effects in the long run

  • drmanhattan73: they are also a race of beings which have sworn to the Buddha that they will protect people who practice his teachings

  • MoiraKelly1: the rituals are not just for show but they also carry effects on your subconscious mind when done...positive effects which is why they are still kept until today...

  • If you want to practise 8 verses, is not necessary to take Refuge, you can practise it by remembering the 8 verses and apply it to your daily life, of course if you take Refuge is much more powerful, as you are holding the Refuge vows and practise it together.......

  • It is said that Yakshas this race of beings of which Dzambala belongs to have many untold wealth .

  • -You do not need to take refuge with Tsem Tulku Rinpoche to practice the 8 verses. By the way, Dzambala rituals, you may have to learn from a proper source, for example, attend the puja at Kechara House to learn about how the ritual is done. The senior students there have received instructions and oral transmissions from Rinpoche so they are allowed teach the practice.
