yeah but canada doesn't subsidize the oil companies and protect their interests with the military;we do...when calculated with all that money added in,we pay a helluva lot more than any other country

If the Americans didn't waste so much fuel they wouldn't be complaining! Your fuel is less than half the price of ours in the UK. Yes we complain too, but we develop better cars. My car does 78 MPG so although a gallon of diesel here is already over $10 a gallon, at least it will go far! I'm sure you are still drivig around in polluting tanks that do 25 MPG, time to change, for our planets sake too, not just your pocket!
One place in England was charging $14 a gallon, just to cheer you up!
