A ten minute ramble about the Magnetic Vail free energy machine SORRY it's so quiet - I would have spoken louder if I'd known that I'd come through so quiet.

  • I don't understand why you have done it this way, and claimed that the idea failed, when the faulty design clearly makes it fail. Try doing it the correct way instead.

  • @TheLoonwolf Correct way?? Show us - do a video response to this video showing the correct way so we know how to do it properly.

  • @ChuffChuffWoo watch?v=vUcWn1x3Tss

Watch magneticveil's video. The two spinning magnet groups need to be fixed in place, not hanging free. They need to be geared together to keep each pair of repelling magnets in perfect line with each other. And the blocking device needs to be tapered so as the pairs come together they are attracted to it, and at their closest point the attraction and repulsion cancels out to zero, with repulsion increasing as they come apart.

  • @TheLoonwolf I don't think gears will help, but I've heard 'gears' mentioned before so I may build one with gears to demonstrate that it still won't work. Do feel free to build one with gears and show it to us tho....

  • @TheLoonwolf Look forward to seeing your improved version : )

  • I know why it's not working. Imagine this - whether the iron bar is there or not, the magnets can still "see" each other, and so with or without the magnetic bar the magnets on the top and the bottom will repel each other equally. That means that force has absolutely no ability to provide energy to the engine, meaning all the energy is coming from the bottom magnets pulling into the iron bar. Unfortunately, although you can get energy by pulling them in, it takes energy to pull them apart. :-(

  • @Bizorke I suppose it's to do with where the flux lines run - a bit like pushing a bar half way between two wheels connected with loads of rubber bands.

  • if you move the two closer together,Won't they spin with out the little bar

  • i keep seeing these "magneticveil motor fail", and each time the guy and setting look the same but his accent and youtube name is different. also in each vid this guys contraption looks purposly built wrong. i smell schill, and it smells like shit.

  • @ChuffChuffWoo Again, watch magneticveil's video to see why the gears are necessary. As I said, it's to keep each pair of repelling magnets in perfect line with each other. I don't have very good equipment available to try this, but I probably will eventually, after I've experimented with other simpler designs. But from what you say, your purpose is to show people that the idea doesn't work, rather than doing experiments to discover whether or not the idea works.
