Born on October 28, 1952
Graduated AN School of Contemporary Music, Vocal Faculty in 1975.
He is a purely self-taught professional Jazz pianist, who developed his own inspirational music style.
After graduating music school, he settled down at Sapporo City, Hokkaido. He had opened up a Jazz club (1977-1984), and also worked as a DJ for NHK-FM Jazz channel.
He moved to New York to further his music training in 1984, and was the first Japanese to open a live Jazz club there.
He also performed as a bassist. During his 5 years in New York, he was able to establish his current musical style.
He produced a number of concerts to introduce overseas Jazz artists by traveling around in Japan, including Richard Davis, Don Friedman, Ray Bryant, Ronnie Mathews, Steve Kuhn and Abbey Lincoln.
He wrote a Jazz Musical called "Moon Light Beauty" which was performed in Tokyo and was produced by Nachi Nozawa in 1989. During this time, he also released his own original musical CD.
Since his debut with the song "Feeling Groovy" in 1982, he has staged a series of nationwide concerts demonstrating his improvisational style, playing alongside Shuichi (Ponta) Murakami.
As a Right Brain Thinker, Medial Reflexologist and Naturalist, he is currently living near the [Yaku] Island World Heritage site where he hand-built his own his house. There he writes essays and novels, while still making trips back to the mainland. For the past 20 years he has been playing to the old and infirm form of music therapy.

•Lecturing as a musician, naturalist and healer, topics like how to unlock your innate talent, how to live with free thought and mind, how to accelerate the bodys self-healing abilities
•Writing essays and commentary in newspapers and magazines.
•Reflexology treatments and practice of music therapy
•Volunteer concerts and treatments, etc. in facilities for the disabled.
