thanks for enlightening me... i'm still quite confused with the CoP system. Oda does have a nice flying camel with layover and most men do camel spins before the CoP system right? And maybe most men did 4 spins in the LP before too? I guess I just don't really like the inside edge sit spin and I would think that having a sit spin and a camel spin to fulfill the spins requirement will add variety and beauty to the program (won't it add to the PCS scores indirectly? =P).

In the senior programs a camel spin is not required... In the LP 3 spins are required: a spin in one position, a flying spin, and a combination spin... A camel spin could be used to fulfill the requirement for the spin in one position or the flying one, but it's not a necessity, so Nobunari uses camel only in the combo spin... A bit of a shame, because he actually has very nice flying camel with layover as a variation (used in the Smile exhibition, and earlier in Tosca).

I love his skating! He is simply amazing. I really want to see him win gold in Olympics along with Yuna. Nobunari and Yuna are my picks for the Olympics!

Actually Evan only landed 7 triples (his flip was under-rotated), whereas Nobu landed 8. But I agree that the program is amazingly well structured and choreographed. He's just fun to watch. :)
