From 1974. I know these two are already posted separately, but I put them together, as they are two of my favorites from Greg Lake :D

  • Damn I love ELP, espec. this song and Toccata.....I was so young and the memories I will never lose (hopefully), good times, blasting this on Vinyl and all friends that arent around anymore due to Overdoses, diseases from drugs, etc...but damn was this a good period of my life....excellent, thank you for posting, Im subscribing!

  • @harleydd Thanks for the nice comment and for subbing. That's tragic about your friends lost...hope your good times & memories have outweighed the bad. This music really helps me. :)

  • @bze2nlz1 Love reading these comments. My faves were Justin Hayward and Greg Lake, but Robert Lamm sure was up there too. How incredible to be able to see their videos here, and damn good quality too. Thanks for putting these two Lake videos together! I cannot stop watching them.... Greg has got to go down in history as one of the most beautiful human beings ever! He takes my breath away...

  • Wahnsinn, ich bekomme eine Gänsehaut....war das eine geile Zeit , dank ELP,Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Doors

  • yes he is chewing gum

  • @cchmlfa What do you think? Oral friction??

  • @bze2nlz1 THERE has been comments about it for all the years I've been coming back to this song.

  • The gum seems to be the big topic. The gum served to quench the dry mouth that occurred due to certain substances. Whatever the case, a beautiful delivery of a beautiful song - and, turning 50 this year, I have a wish that we can return to heartfelt music in this country - in place of the fake and flashy. Just a wish.

  • Voice is awesome. Even with chewing gum

  • @antonioj123 This was California Jam in 1974, Gum most likely was not the only thing they were doing, ya think ? Wow !

  • I am a huge fan of Greg Lake and E.L.P., nice you got both on one posting.....I got so fired up on his stuff that I currently have 3 of his songs I play on youtube right now and will add a 4th with From the Beginning (sometime soon), 12 string guitar is sweet on alot of his songs. I also love Father Christmas song and did my take on it herein on u-tube.

  • @antonioj123 Can you imagine, he can sing this well and still chew gum. I have seen video with John Lennon singing and chewing gum.

  • Nice to see these live videos combined, perfection by Greg Lake, great 12 string and playing. Singing is fabulous too.
