@escapeclaus You do need a order for "spirometry" /pulmonary function test but you can do a "peak" flow or "PEF" (peak expiratory flow)on your own with no order needed. If you are asking because you have Asthma it is great tool to keep at home or on you to keep track and manage it. A peak flow meter works by measuring how fast air comes out of the lungs when you exhale forcefully after inhaling fully. It's a good tool to also know if the meds are working or not by doing a pre and post reading.
Thanks. I'll try to pick up one of those peak flow tests. I believe my exercise-induced asthma is due to adrenal fatigue.
