[3/19/2009 6:42:50 PM] James - England: G. Patrick Battell interviews former Catholic seminarian, Raymond Leroux
Raymond spent 4 years in an American seminary, training to be a Roman Catholic priest. Disillusioned with the system, he abandoned the priesthood and subsequently spent forty years in the wilderness; health ruined and near suicide, a letter would arrive from a daughter he'd not heard from in over 25 years and this, by the grace of God, change his life forever.
Note: This was the first interview using the Skypes software and a conference call in the following locations, Partick in the UK, Raymond in Florida, and recorded in New York State.

@Mickeysteve49 Who are the many? Who are the few?
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:13-15

@Mickeysteve49 "Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the [Roman Catholic] Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix." Para 69 Catechism (1994)

This person being interviewed either has no clue of the Church or is being dishonest. Everything in the Seminary is based on first the Scripture. The Church is grounded in scripture. Every priest takes the vow of Chastity and obedience and religious priest takes the vow of poverty. The diocesant priest doesn't because they don't live in communities, they run parishes. If you need to understand the Church you can't go to her enemy for information. It is sad how this interview is so dishonest.

The Church has never taught that Mary can save us. It is unfortunate that so many of us Catholics never water our spirituality with prayer. The Church has always encourage us to pray without ceasing. When I listen to this video I realised that a lot of the information is inaccurate. A monsignor cannot ordain anyone a priest. Saints are not down graded. St. Jerome says "ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ".

"There is no other name under heaven, by which we must be saved"
That verse is in Acts. I'm sure you have read that.
Mary cant help us at all. The Lord is our advocate and our Great High Priest.
I'm glad that you know you are "saved"

Ok great... If you listen to former protestants, same story. For you to assume and straight out say "false teaching" - that is hate based on your opinion and from your pastors. I have nothing but peace to offer. Our form of worship and our way of life is Truth in Jesus.

IT is heart breaking that so many religions claim the Lord Jesus, yet they truly seem to have another jesus

no hate AT ALL
If you listen to former catholics you will find that they love the catholics and long that they might know the TRUTH in JESUS alone.
God will not allow us to put anyone or anything up against HIS beloved SON> He said "HEAR HIM"
