  • No, the CPU in question(Loongson 2F) is a MIPS-Based processor, and isn't X86 compatible, so no Windows unless MS were to port it. Interestingly, this isn't ENTIRELY out of the question imho, Loongson is already doing pretty well in China already. If it starts doing well abroad, I don't think MS will have choice, they'll have to port it, or they'll lose market share to Linux and whatever other OSes are compatible with the Loongson.

  • wau ich suchhee auch ein fuer 100 oder 200$

  • looks like a wierd computer

  • Loongson is a very potential chip at least for the Chinese market. It's more like a fancy updated version of MIPS.

  • are longsoon a gd cpu maker, as i have always stuck to AMD and intel, plus i cnt find a website anywhere to get a hold of one of these, i would get a eee pc but why be a sheep when i can be a trend setter plus this has a choice of colours

  • what a very ugly pc!

  • Those are really coming our in May. I'm getting the pink one.

  • If I plug in my 19" monitor, what's the maximum resolution I can expect? Can I plug in an external HD and boot from it? Does it have anything in the way of a BIOS or OpenBoot which can be configured by the user?
