First saw Webb in Baton Rouge in '86 just days after his 1st LP came out. He and the band "flat out got it"!!!

You gotta love Webb! My band did an outdoor festival he headlined in the early 90's. We played right before him, and I'll never forget when I came off the stage he shook my hand and said "HI, I'M WEBB!!!"
Then they flat out rocked.
