I decided to use the song "Smile" performed by Nat King Cole as a tribute to Gene Tierney (1920-1991), who overcame a lot of hardship in her life. She perservered through the bouts of mental illness and depression that haunted her and later wrote her autobiography, "Self-Portrait". She had a unique presence on film, a kind of mysterious girl next door quality that her "Night And The City" costar Richard Widmark observed. I thought the song is very fitting. Enjoy.

This song is heartbreaking especially when you consider the turmoil that Gene went through in her personal life. Lovely tribute.
