My older brother did a lot of acid back in the early '70s. One year he decorated our christmas tree with plastic silverware melted over the stove and tied to the branches with colored yarn. I liked it, I don't think my parents did though!
He's actually just fine even though he used a lot of different drugs over the years.

Sounds like overall he had a good trip except for having to be in the same room the whole time.. but.. after 8 hours he still wasnt finished trippin... believe me... acid lasts longer than that..
