The hot summer months are mostly behind us now and you might be thinking that the lawn care business will be coming to a standstill for the rest of the year. Nothing could be further from the truth because September, October, and November are leaf raking months. This is a hugely profitable time of the year. It is possible to make more money during these months than during the grass cutting season since there is such a huge demand for leaf raking services.
If you can do your leaf raking jobs properly and efficiently and if you can price them correctly then you can make a tremendous amount of money. I urge you to get ramped up. If you haven't started your lawn care business yet, get started right away and advertise your leaf raking services.
If money is an object, don't be deterred. We have helped people get started with just a rake and a pair of gloves. No matter how small you start, you need to start off on the right foot. The estimating software comes with our business package and there is also free email support. So, if you have any questions we are always happy to help.
The website is StartALawnCareBusiness.com
We offer a professionally produced Lawn Care / Landscaping business package which shows you how to start a lawn care business. Included in the guides is information on how to do leaf raking jobs properly and how to price those jobs profitably.

@basshunter477 I look at a job and guess how many hours it will take and charge 60.00 per hour. But if its pine needles I almost double it because you cannot mulch them even my billy goat 13hp does not blow em well and they are heavy. But they are fun as hell to burn when you get em home lol we all have to keep learning thats what makes us succeed

I've always found raking leaves easier than using a leaf blower. It seems like you have no control with the leaf blower and it just throws the leaves all over the place.
