Beachcomber,never much mentioned about it,but yes same here.carried on for a while then over the road to the swimming pool.Then the long hitchhike back to hemel hempstead.Happy days indeed.

i luv'd the beachcomber , some brilliant dancers in there ... then after that into the baths for a shower and clean up , then the drive home back to north wales ... and it was a long way in those days ... but on occasion it was straight off to an all dayer if there was one ... va va's if my memory serves me right , or the top rank in stoke ... or the steam machine ... went a few times to the ritz but for some reason wasn't struck on it ... ktf ... C A L ... prestatyn .

remember going in the chemist and buying a couple of benzedrex inhalers,they were awfull to swallow break the inner up and bomb em in bog roll and still i wanted to heave for a minute or two.If i could score a few blues on friday night at the wirrina then if i missed the wolves coach at knutsford on saturday night it was benzedrex time.yuk

@JackMDT8888 just saw your comment you made some time back, made me laugh brought back memories, i was a sixties mod , yea i remember they changed the shape of the purple hearts but that didnt fool anyone did philon, green n clears, there were drynamil spansules , brown n clear ha ha yes jack they really were the days, nice remembering, be cool ha ha

Hmmmm.....Riker Labs, Loughborough, Leics I seem to remember! Durophet-M, Brown, Black and White and of course the famous Black.
Personally Philon and Green & Clears were my faves......Purple Hearts with got changed to French Blues, but were the same thing..........I think I could still empty a pharm in under two minutes!!!
