That's a good shot for your first squirrel.
Personally I would use old broadheads to get a quicker kill on them instead of field points.
However, to each his own.

Everyone that lives in Canada should know that squirrls are pests that can destroy your roofing on your house and eat baby birds and bird seed it is ok to kill them if only they are offending your property. Oh and kid u missed the squirrel.

exactly, squirrel is very tasty. If you want the best recipie for squirrel I've ever tasted, try quartering the squirrel, wrapping each quarter with uncooked bacon and sticking it on with toothpicks, and grilling it. When you're grilling it, be sure to baste it with liberal amounts of italian salad dressing....mmm...makes me hungry just thinkin about it
