It never really occured to me that the people who made these videos - including the man who filmed this - lived right there he stood and watched his home and his business get washed away right in front of his very eyes- can you imagine how that must've felt? Terrible terrible tragedy

that ship in the background got on hell of a show. Probably the safest ppl there in that location. Simply amazing they got out just seconds before it would have been too late. Amazing video.

To see everything in the foreground gradually all be broken to pieces and swept away, with only fast-moving dark water where there was a tightly crowded neighborhood - incomprehensible. And it all happens in just a few minutes. And that damn water just keeps flowing and rising without slowing down.
