Nope, 1-1.5" works the best. If you want your mxz to work good on water you will have to dial in your jetting, clutching and suspension. Takes a while to figure out but once it's set good it's awsome.

man i hate watching these waterskipping videos... only because i cant wait for winter to cross some open lakes!!

Crossing open lakes in winter is pretty dangerous and reckless in my opinion. Hypothermia sets in fast and you endanger the lives of everyone who will attempt to help you if you happen to go under.

It did go under, been ridden 3 seasons and still runs like a champ.
