TMA President Encourages Patients to Tell Congress: Stop the Medicare Cut!

Texas Medical Association President Susan Bailey, MD, urges patients to to call on Congress to save Medicare for the millions of patients who rely on it. A nearly 25-percent Medicare cut to physician Medicare payments is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2011 if Congress doesn't intervene. (Approximately 23% to be cut on Dec. 1, and approximately 6.5% more on 1/1/2011.) Texas Medical Association and TX AARP join forces in Fort Worth on 11/17/2010 to make this announcement.
