Wily 1: MMU Expert Part 9

First Wily stage was a pain in the ass. I had my routine down but I kept botching it on either the spike fall near the end or the boss itself (getting hit knocks you off). Managed a decent no-hit run though, so few complaints from me.

Also, Ice bubble is the only weapon that works against the dragon, thus weapon usage.

Man, i would've screwed up at 1:28 (since i didn't notice those bricks weren't part of the background!) The living statues part was kinda freaky, but creative.

I can't put my finger on the level design, but i don't think it was completely original. Was it a castle stage from Legend of Zelda II?

As for 1:28, I DID think it was part of the background at first. I was jetting over there on my first practice run and thought "oh shit," and then noticed a conspicuous brick above me after I died.

This is indeed a dungeon tileset for Zelda II, as well as the music being from Zelda II's last dungeon, Great Palace. This hack continues to intrest me. :3

There's that and the castle's Wily Castle from MM3, but with all the stage locations scrambled. I mean, one of the stages takes place on THE MOON?
