I know what you mean.. and I agree with you, we don't know.. and yeah, this video is pseudo-science. But that's not an ignorant argument.. I'm basically rephrasing "we don't know" by saying that it's impossible to rule out the existence of something, no matter how ridiculous or contrary to our current scientific understanding. We cannot prove a negative because we aren't an omniscient species and are not aware of what can and cannot exist or be a possibility in this universe.

  • @SulfuricAcidChugger I have no problem with imagination but I do have a problem with the way this video is presented though because it does not say it is just a fantasy :) I like to hear different arguments and I enjoy out of the box thinking but please do not present them as a fact and do not tell me “Just because we don’t have evidence, it does not mean that something does not exist” this is argument from ignorance. If we don’t know we can still imagine but should have the courage to say so.

  • @meazouz As am I :P But I just think it's kind of ridiculous to think that just because there isn't evidence for something, that something does not exist.. we just haven't discovered it yet due to our limited perspective. But yeah, I wholly agree that pulling ideas out of our ass doesn't really get us anywhere unless it can be validated with some form of evidence or reasoning. But hey, imagination is an important part in making discoveries, right?

    Cheers. :)

  • @SulfuricAcidChugger So we don't know! :) lets figure out with it making assumptions without evidence. I am open for a never ending and fascinating discoveries.

I agree with what you're saying.. but visible to whom? I think it depends on the perspective of the viewer.. like, a cell undergoing mitosis would be much more interesting under a microscope, or say a supernova through a telescope. However we can't see these things without a certain perspective of the universe, so really to us they never existed before we had the technology to view the phenomena. Who knows what else is out there that we haven't yet seen because of our limited view..

  • I seriously doubt this is true

  • What utter presumptious misleading bastardisation and pseudo-scientific nonsense. This is just flung together new age jargon with a smidge of badly stated science thrown in to try to validate it. Can you demonstrate ANY example of consciousness that isn't generated by a device comprising matter and energy? Thought not.

  • This is utter misleading and misuse of the quantum theory. We change the world or the future by our deeds not by the power of thought!. There were very important events that happened on our planet and in the universe way before humans existed or any sort of consciousness arose. The universe does not care for our personal or collective thought. In fact, if our solar system disappears, it wouldn’t matter as there are other cosmic events that are much more interesting and infinitely more visible.

  • nice video, good watch :) interesting concept
