I realize this is an old video, but is there still a parkour group at RIT now? I got accepted, but I can't decide where to go, so trying to find little things that might tide me over. It looks like fun :)

-
I want to go out and do this.. but I think I'd look ridiculous with my larger body type.

good ways to train

I must say Parkour is much more than rock climbing. Although Rock climbing is a great activity for training certian muscles used in Parkour. Parkour is essentially a game, of dertermination and knowledge of ones own abilities. For example (this is a game) One tries to overcome an obstical and get to a destination and the other person tries to race him there getting there the most direct way possible. But is a form in my opinion of the purest ways of honing your bodies muscles and mind.

I got to say I have heard of you guys only good things though. I also heard that RIT asked you to stop doing parcour. I can not conceve why that would be. You were not attempting anything like "container jumping" Or that is jumping from high hights. You were training and safely at that. I have found few areas to practice out here. So yeah I must say, keep up the good work and I hope to see another vid for the 09 season or 2010 season. Peace bros and keep on movin to greater goals.
Dude... i totally live in the Rochester area!.. and i've been thinking of taking up Parkour/Free running!.
though... im not yet close to being in collage, but once i can.. i think i might try to get a better look and come out to RIT some time!

You don't need to go to RIT to train with us! Send me an IM on AIM sometime (superhappydud) and we can chat!

Where is this exactly? It looks like a nice location. I want to learn to do this, but to my knowledge there is no one doing it in my area. I guess I'll have to start it myself - but I don't know where to begin!
