I guess you answered my question about the trinity. Your Catholic phraseology is what is orthodox to you and others are wrong. I think you are on dangerous ground here. It is not just Jesus only who says there are not three persons. The early church used personae which all scholars agree is different then english person. Now you are a cult. You are bringing up your own definition of a cult. Jesus if Yahweh as we all agree and he is the Father Isa.9:6.. are you a translator now and reinterpret?

Calvin had another gospel then the truth of the Bible. Secondly he murdered 58 people and by a reformed lawyer found him condemned in law as a murderer unrepentant. What is the difference of Calvin's character and Muhammad? Scripture tells us he is in hell by justification of killing other Christians therefore is it not logical his doctrine does not take people to Heaven if he is not ther

Are you suggesting that Tertullian and the early church which taught a more oneness view of God is a Cult? How about those who refuse the terms modern people make of the trinity? How about God is a trinity in one person. Believed by William Penn of the Quakers, Campbell of the Church of Christ, some early adventist, other anabaptist in the early days etc. Whose standard? Yours?

This is a good theme and raises good questions. The problem we have in Christianity is that gnostic teachings from the Neo Platonic Augustine twisted Christianity into a Calvinistic cult of present day. Calvinism is now in so many groups that as it crosses over all boundaries.

It presents a God who lives outside of time.. no where does the bible say this, a God who elects some and not others, makes people born helpless responsible for something they had no option to do without freewill. Cult.

@rachels177 A cult is not a pejorative term in itself, Christians vow a cult to(worship, give adoration) to the One True benevolent and Living God who proclaims that there is no other God but Him and to Jesus Christ His only begotten Son so Christianity is not a man made belief system but a faith started by Jesus Christ Himself.

@aaronready1 Christianity is not a religion, the term cult is not a bad or pejorative term, a cult is to give adoration,worship to an Entity, in the case of Mormons, they have an antichristian cult and it is the same thing for islam, True Christianity is a Faith in which people worship and follow the Living God in personal relationship daily and in a walk of repentance where we seek God's help to crucify the evil desires of the flesh since He died for our sins
