1977 Toyota Celica (Hellica) 10psi supercharged + stroked 22r (now 2.6L), Weber DCOE, This is the first day the car has run since we started the project 14 months ago!

  • Damn you, "Hellica" is the name of my RA29! Good old Camden screw chargers. Watch out for the ones that didn't have the essential hole cutout for the nose cone bearing.(Easy to fix) The oil would not get forward enough to keep the seal happy, the bearings do alright with sparse lubrication under hard launches. A way to check is pull off the pulley, roll some paper to slide in between the seal and the shaft and then pull it out to check it. If the paper wicks a little oil, then you're good.
