This snippet was inspired by a query left in the Art Clinic section of Paul Taggart's website http://www.artworkshopwithpaul.com

Query posted by : Kenneth Fisher from England, United Kingdom

Original Question

"My problem is with Acrylic paint in that i find it frustating to mix pale colors,as I add white to make the color paler and more opaque,it has the effect of dulling the color, I am trying to make the color paler but also brighter, this seems to be the case with most neutral colors ie pale Blue or off white etc, I hope you can understand my question and can help, Thank you".....

Glazing is the answer to this common challenge and here Paul divulges a snippet of the technique to start you off.

To leave a question from which Paul will select the subject for his next Painting Snippet please leave your query in the Art Clinic of hismain website http://www.artworkshopwithpaul.com (secure log-in required).
