The video begins assuming that you've already taken apart your gearbox and removed all the parts not needed for the re-wiring. If you don't know how to take your gun and gearbox apart, there are plenty of guides out there on the internet, and a good website I recommend is www.mechbox.com. I learned from that site and so can you. This guide is for re-wiring your Version 2 gearbox. This is the gearbox in the most common guns (M4/M16, MP5, G3) so I thought I'd make the video based on that. If you have a gun with a Version 3 gearbox, it is so much easier, you don't even have to take the gearbox apart. Please forgive the crappy video quality, I don't have 4 hands, and forgive the interference. I would usually make videos in my room/workshop, but since I was soldering, I decided to make the video at the dinner table so I wouldn't have to breathe in all the fumes.

  • First of all I broke a motor connector on my gun, so my gun won't shoot so when u get new connectors with heat shrink how do u connect the new motor connectors onto the wire? Please respond!!!!

  • @psprocks777 Put the wire in the connector hole, and then crimp it with some pliers. You can put heat shrink on em too.

  • Will this work with a Combat Machine Blowback?

  • @Curtofthehorde94 yep. I should remake this video, its not that great. I'll do a new one this summer with a mosfet.

  • can i use the same wires wired to the front to rewire to the back

  • @leogecko22

  • METALLICA! epic song in the backround!

good video and this is informative

  • please help im putting in a new spring in my gun tomorrow and the only thing holding me up is how to remove that black tape stuff on the wires at 2:03 in the top left corner HALP

  • looks like a pretty comfortable trigger you have on there

  • just a note, using teflon wire is better... the insulation id thinner so it is easier to not only install, but get the motor in the motor grip after. I found this out after I rewired mine with 16 AWG silicone wire and when it came to putting the gun back together the motor wouldnt slide into the grip no matter how much modification I tried.

  • One!

  • @psprocks777 you can just strip them tin both connectors and solder them onto the motor

  • Hey can u send me a link of the motor connectors u got?

  • Ok, for heat shrink u just cut out the length u want and put it over the wire and blow dry it so it shrinks on there? Like in your video? Thank you so much!!!!! I was going 2 buy all new wires!!!!
