A sad figure one of many radicals who became politicians. He wasn't alone, the surrealists did it, lucy parsons did it among other people who initially had libertarian views. That era of the 19ten-teens was actually pretty exciting. You had great figures like renzo novatore, the bonnot gang, marcel duchamp ect. What they all had in common were affinities with Max Stirner. The Russian revolution was truly tragic when the lenins got their hooks in things. Mass politics abounded.
