I travel in several Texas towns where we have small-sized businesses, medium-sized businesses & big-sized businesses.

If you have net taxable income over $250,000 you are a top dog in town -- the big business

Some people & FOX say if you raise taxes on those making over $250,000 you hit small busineses

That would be 1 or 2%

Using this argument 98% are small businesses & 2% are big -- and there is no middle

i do run two small businesses, a welding and fabrication shop, and a machine shop that specializes in high pressure relief valves for slurries in gold and silver mines.

Corporate taxes are different then personal income tax. Buffet was talking about the personal income taxes of the rich individuals, not their companies. So if they keep it in the company the company can use that money to grow, because its taxed at a lower rate than say if the owner of the company took it out and put it in his personal account. That's Taxes 101 right there.
