    I would like to dedicate this song to my grandfather Charlie Vennell, who was a retained fireman during the blitz, on top of running a butcher's shop in Kent.

    Note for Americans: this was similar to a 9/11 happening every few days for more than three months.

    The British political class are in the process of SELLING BRITISH PUBLIC SERVICES into private hands (largey to their own FRIENDS) for a short term pay offs. Which means we'll end up paying inflated prices to private companies, to operate services that WE OWNED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

    Is it still in public hands?

    Are they paying through the nose for supplies from private "service providers", down to government contracts?

    Both big parties are doing it (and the Liberal Democrats are just starting)
