Why should a respected Indian author be facing jail for exposing a crying Catholic statue as being caused by faulty plumbing? Sanal Edamaruku, the victim of this unjust law, speaks here in Dublin, Ireland about the blasphemy charges against him, at a public meeting hosted by Atheist Ireland.

Here's a thought. Instead of harassing Sanal for debunking their miracle, why don't the Catholic authorities debunk his explanation? It should be a simple matter for them to divert the waste toilet water away from the statue. If the mysterious water continues to drip from Jesus' feet then their case would hold water, so to speak. They should rely on their faith in the divine instead of trying to suppress the secular scientific explanation with the secular legal system if they have faith at all.
