THis sounds less like Jaco than most electric bass players. For one thing, James Genus is not playing a fretless bass. The weather report reference also confuses me; maybe you haven't heard a lot of modern jazz recently, but since 1980 there have been more than a couple handfuls of innovative electric bass players in the jazz idiom who have gone beyond Jaco Pastorious & Weather Report's VERY SIGNIFICANT yet dated/chronicled contributions to music. pEace,

I normally don't take time to respond to comments good or bad, but this one is full of falsities and narrow minded elitisms that I would be remiss not answer. FIRST: Who mentioned Jaco?! Weather Report has a long, storied history and while the incarnations from 1976-81 are arguably the most popular, they are not the end all- be all. So for you to automatically assume the reference is jaco is narrow minded at the least. Procession , the song and album with Victor Bailey is was my reference point.
