I bought the gun on Redwolf Airsoft for 259 USD : http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Tokyo_Marui_Tokyo_...

The "Barry Burton" is a video game custom from the Resident Evil saga (Bio Hazard in Japan). It's supposed to be used by the STARS member Barry Burton, though you never see him actually using it in the game. The only mention of this gun is in the remake of the first game of the serie, "Resident Evil : Rebirth", on the Sega Dreamcast. It's an unlockable weapon. Compared to the standard M9, it has infinite ammo and a slightly improved rate of fire.

Barry Burton is supposed to be the "weapon expert" of the team, and he has made made this gun by Robert Kendo, a Gunsmith of Racoon City. Note that according to the background of the game, this pistol is supposed to be chambered in .40 S&W.

In the airsoft world, the "Barry Burton" is a collector item before anything else. A first version of this gun has been released, I believe, some 10 years ago, for the 5th anniversary of the game. Discontinued a long time ago, you could stil find one sometimes on Ebay, but always for a very high price (500 USD, at least).

The gun in this video is a "new" edition for the 15th anniversary of the game, though it has nothing "new" at all. Besides, there is no aluminium case (the first edition came in an aluminium case).

I like the look of this gun, it's really cool. But that's an old gun, from an old conception. Tokyo Marui Beretta are all plastic, with average performances (with still great reliability though). They are not as good as today GBBs.

Note that the gun comes with a 31 rounds extended magazine, but you can use regular M9 magazine as well.

  • Do they sell the Barry Samurai Edge mags separately? I saw that you had 2 mags, or is that because you have 2 guns?

  • @Phamster92 Those are Tokyo Marui long magazines for M92. They have available separatly.

  • did you see the resident evil 6 trailer ? It looks pretty cool

  • @DreadNawght Well... The first movie was ok, the 2nd one was ridiculously laughable, the other ones were pathetic.

    Only my opinion of course.

  • @KhanSeb I think he was talking about the game, Seb...

  • @onekegofice Oh yeah, my bad. Sorry about that.

Not such a big fan of the last RE games either though.

  • @KhanSeb

You're dead right, the movies are terrible. Its all just CGI kung fu moves and slow motion 'things flying through the air'... bloody aweful dilution of the movie market in my opionion.
