and there is a gate there where you can climb over watch the spikes though, getting inside was quite hard but eventually after walking round the building we found a metal boarded up window half off not to far from the security hut but as knowone was there we where fine,

i was in there the other night with a few others to get a good look around before its fully demolished, if you go between 2am and 4am there are no security, also the fence is not a problem we parked directly facing the main building (the laurels)

i have a huge folder and book from cherry knowels with alot of patients day to day goings on (what they did why they did it why they where in how long they where in ect) which was left i got it in 2004 as soon as the place was abandond it dates back to the 50's i think i would sell it pm me if intrested :)

you'll find that most derelict asylums are surrounded by palisade fencing and security.
