  • I really think thay've saved my life at times. There have been times in my life that were so dark and isolating, and I listened to them non-stop. I found encouragement, and a kinship to thier experiences which gave me hope and really helped me get through knowing that I was not the only one who has felt that way. There is light at the end of the tunnel. That is thier universal message.

  • They are THE BEST! Their lyrics are unbelievable--and the harmonies are brilliant. Keep singing girls!

  • I totally agree that the Indigo Girls are amazing. I used to go see them play in Atlanta (at the Dugout) before they were famous. And from the first time I saw them, I was a devoted fan. I love all their music. And it has great meaning for me -- at different stages in my life.

  • The Indigo Girls are amazing. When I was very young my dad and his friends would get together and play their music, and I can still remember singing along with them. Now I see them in concert every Summer.

  • totally off subject, watch Emily, she looks and acts like a stoned person trying not to be,cracks me up!

  • I am a 50 year old male and so not the typical Indigo Girls majority audience. However the song Ghost of the gang tonight hit home like nothing I have heard in a long time. Love the tunes and the access you provide to your fans! PS my 11 year old daughter listens to the Indigo girls and has seen them 3 times in concert

  • @Sezza333 Good on ya girl! I, too, have been totally underwhelmed by current music at times - almost to the point of despiar - but thankfuly something always saved me from abandoning modern music altogether. The last time I really had a bad case of losing faith in modern music it was thankfully turned around by one of the greatest neo-punk bands ever: Nirvana.

  • @TheDeadlyDelilah Fair enough. I guess it's just that most of the music that's played on local radio stations or in stores and stuff all sounds the same to me and it all sounds like noise, not music. A lot of the music I like I've discovered over the internet - especially here on YT - so I guess it's true that there's great new music to be found if you know where to look (:

  • @merlinarose idiot. They are friends. Fuckwit.

  • @Sezza333 Respectfully, I'd like to aver that you are wrong. There are some amazing and fantastic artists coming out these days, but don't look for them in any "pop" folder. Evanescance is an example. There is great new music - young, fresh, vibrant - you just have to look for it instead of waiting for it to be dished up for you by TV networks.

  • @MiriamSPia Perfect sentiment.

  • Go Ladies!!! You make me feel ok about being middle-aged and still a radical!
