Can a web series make it to TV! Absolutely, says Javier Grillo-Marxuach, a writer's writer whose credits include "Lost," "The Middleman" and "Medium." Recorded July 24, 2010 at Comic-Con. Pay no attention to the Natalie Portman lookalike in the background!

  • @mmdillon1 in my worst day, in my darkest hour, at the end of my physical, emotional and intellectual rope, i will never say anything as myopic or ignorant as those who espouse the idea that aliens visited the earth in times of antiquity and aided humanity in the construction of monuments.

  • I recently heard Javier make some of the most myopic, ignorant statements about the Nazca lines that I've ever heard; I couldn't believe it was the same man whose creativity and unique imagination I've so greatly admired! His comparison of the artistic Nazca images (which can't be viewed while standing on earth) to the Berlin Wall is beyond belief. Perhaps he was having a wildly bad day - fighting off the trots, or something... Actually, his face WAS very blotchy red and inflamed at the time...

  • Javi is my hero
