acording to the holy bible,all the species were vegetarians,but,after the sin entered in the world,some species started to kill another and taste the flavour of the meat,after it,these species stopped grazing.
The Bible says, "And to every beast of the earth ... that is the breath of life, every green herb for meat to them" (Gen.1: 30)
