as the ultimate Adrenaline Rush! The valley is narrow with steep hillsides towering over 2,000 meters (6,600 ft) from the river. Nepal's first bungee jumping site is situated at the Last Resort, 160 meters (520 ft) above a gorge with Nepal's wildest river raging below. It is 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) from the Nepal-Tibet border. Bungee jumping at the Last Resort is the 3rd highest in the world with 3 seconds of freefall. However, the swing is the world's longest at 300 meters with 7.5 seconds of free fall and reaching a speed of 150km/hr. When it opened in 1999, the Last Resort was the 2nd highest suspension footbridge in the world. Its Swiss designed especially for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor, the bridge will hold 4.5 tonnes. Over 6,000 meters (20,000 ft) of steel wire was used to build the longest suspension bridge in Nepal.
Awesome, particularly with the river flowing as it is.
