We love our Macs. And that's why we want them to be free of toxic chemicals that create poisonous e-waste. Apple should be at the forefront of green technology, and clearly show other companies how to do it the right way. When old products get tossed, they often end up at the fingertips of children in China, India and other developing world countries. They dismantle them for parts, and are exposed to a dangerous toxic cocktail of burning PVC plastic and lead and mercury pollution that threatens their health and the environment. A cutting edge company shouldn't be cutting lives short.

That's not what Apple is all about. And we know just the people to make Apple change its ways: its customers. Love your Mac? Wish it came in green?

Every year I run into Greenpeace's "useful idiots" at my local ski resort and they ask me to join. I ask them what their view is on banning dihydrogen monoxide (water) and every year they say it is horrible stuff and should be banned. What a bunch of morons.
