SKYJUMP: New Zealands Highest Jump 192 metres straight down!

Story of my impromptu experience in Auckland:
Few hours before my flight back to Melbourne from Auckland, I got a

free ticket from Jaime to do the SkyJump. I always wanted to do bungy

jumping but there wasn't enough time so SkyJump was the perfect

substitute. Apparently, it's three/four times higher than bungy! So I

dragged my best friend (I thought so) to the Sky Tower with me.

She told me she went for it months ago with two of her friends. WHILE

WE WERE WALKING TO THE SKY TOWER, which was ten minutes away from her

house, she told me that:
1. She cried after she jumped and that it's scarier than bungy.
2. Her friends vomited after the jump - BY THE WAY, her friends were

GUYS.

She got me all FREAKED OUT because I know she's pretty fearless with

such thrills so if she cried, it's definitely scary... Honestly, I was

contemplating to back out from the jump after all the terrifying stuff

she'd told me.

Strangely, she didn't know the way up to the registration counter when

we got to the tower. Since she's been there before, I should have found

it odd that she was as lost as me. BUT I couldn't even detect anything

amiss because I was ALL CAUGHT UP WITH PRAYING to God that I would have

the balls to leap off that tower. The journey up the tower ALONE (with

the instructor) felt painstakingly long and my heart was racing.

While you watch the video, you'd realize that I didn't leap off the

first time the instructor counted down for me because I was TOO FREAKED

OUT. You could see the entire Auckland city and..hmmm..mountains and

seas and places I'm not sure of. You could see them SO CLEARLY. Then

you had to slowly walk to the edge and you gotta stand at the edge for

a while before the countdown begins. That feeling was...unforgettable.

Come to think of it now, I miss it haha.

Halfway through, my best friend (apparently) confessed to me, WHILE I

WAS IN MIDAIR, (and THROUGH video?@#!!@$^%) that she didn't do the

SkyJump before. Seriously, I was initially quite brave but I chickened

out so much after all the LIES she'd told me.

And then she insisted that I had a better experience because of her.

WITH BEST FRIEND LIKE HUILING, WHO NEEDS ENEMIES?
