  • my best touge ever was 26lbs, caught in northern quebec. the most insaine thing that ever happend was when we started catching 12-15lbs in 70ft of water on the surface! the first time i crancked the pole down to much on the down rigger and it realeased. the dodger hit the surface about 140ft behind the boat and isntantly the bait behind it was trashed. thought the fish followed it up till i started catching em right after letting the line out behind the boat. wish i filmed it!

Are you a Grayling ??? I am not speaking of Native people, but fish species. LOL Lake trout aren't a native species of fish here in the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Island). We do have a couple of lakes with North American lake trout at the species was imported and stocked in some of our lakes. They don't get bigger than 9-10 kg here.
