OOOOOOOH Dogedy! Just fired-up my new music composition software and gee whiz is it great! This is my first attempt--the software lets you choose a voice or instrument, turns your computer keyboard into a virtual keyboard on which you write the melody for that voice--I did an oboe, viola, xylophone, a glockenspiel, numerous gongs, a bunch of drums, some sound effects, a cello, a string bass and tenor and a soprano voice lines. I made short loops of short (2-4 bars) tunes, then just stacked'em all up. Sure beats plugging my guitar into the computer and the results, for a rank amateur's first time out, are not as horrible as you might think! Hooray!

Oh! The videos are all of West Hawaii, the Big Island, Kohala and Kona....

  • Hey well I was wondering after watching that amazing video I was wondering if you can watch some of mine.

I am part of a group called The Calderas and we focus on putting a smile on a peoples faces even if they like or not, but please I'll subscribe to you if you tell your friends about me and I'll tell my friends. You can subscribe to me too. Thanks.

  • OK--it's a deal...

  • Hey Bari--

I think you can do better than $3000. My girlfriend rents her house out for only $2500 a month in Kona.

Here in Kona some condominiums rent for about $1200 a month; this includes kitchen. It depends on where you are going and what you want, but it sounds steep.

Are you gonna spend any time on the Big Island? I'd love to meet you, show you around (if I'm not visiting Lora on Vancouver Island)...

  • u should make a little trailer of the big island

  • I love it (lol) great Retired from being a Chef. I work casual as a courier with a medical firm. Planning to come to Hawaii for one whole month (this time)next year.

Oahu is still the most reasonable place

We found the best rate so far for one month by Makakha Lahilahi Beach Park there is a couple of kind of old hotels that rent by the month at $3000.00.

Would you agree this is the best choice - or have some better places to choose from?
