@infanta55 You are an idiot. A touch screen doesn't mean something is good or bad. They designed it so it doesn't have a touch screen. Just look at myford touch and all the criticism it is taking for its interface, mainly because of the touchscreen. You aren't going to be doing these things while driving anyways!

Ok, I get needing an iPhone first but having to pay $250 and then have to buy the cradle for $250 or so in order to get full functionality? What about a cheaper USB cable that would do away with the costly cradle? What about letting Bluetooth connect to the car? Can't even remote start the car or check sunroof status or door lock status? I think you can do that with Chevy and Ford already. Great car but this 'app' thing is so far a failure for BMW.

Most of the "Internet related Apps" do not work while driving. So please stop with the ignorant posts.

What we care is if we could use Siri, play the music and Calendar. Leting a driver watch videos, view the photos and social networking is just a mind-distracting features, they should fire their project manager whoever he is! and why on earth BMW still come with the screen without touch screen? Buying a $200 GPS + Mirror & Camera in Bestbuy is better than paying you $1200 for the not upgradable and integrated ones. And $300 for smart phone connection?! WT*

Android? Blackberry?

Beautiful. Exactly what we need. BMW drivers reading facebook while driving like assholes.

That's horrible interface design. Don't they hire people who have education?

Wow, this is really bad. There's so much wrong with this that even my local dealer told me not to bother with it.
I got the iPhone, now I just need the BMW

Unfortunately, BMW seems to have abandoned the project. The BMW App is static and hasn't added any new functionality since it launched.
