@naythCC you never undertake nearside, it's dangerous. You filter through standing or very slow speed traffic, not in traffic moving at a reasonable flow. The scooter is rushing, and putting himself at risk for the sake of a few moments patience.

I agree, he is breaking no laws. The cager (car driver) is been picky, it's london, it's called filtering. unless the rider is doing something unsafe, it's fine what he is doing. Also; you're aware he is there, so let him pass.

Undertaking?
To start with - its totally by law for any vehicle to safely undertake. There is no laws on undertaking itself. If done unsafely - which this didnt seem so - then it can be a offense as dangerous driving.
Number two - your not a car. Motorcycles can ride 2 up in one lane if they wish - it does compromise safety for one of the riders - but thats your choices.
3 - I think your being abit picky. Its london - what do you expect.

I had some chav idiot undertake me at about 60mph when I was doing 30 in a 30. His scooter was most likely illegal, as he didn't look over 16 and it was a very fast one. Most people like that fit bigger re bore kits anyway. I saw him again about 3 weeks later, as I was in a car coming round a round a bout, he approached with no braking or deceleration and nearly hit my dad's car. Then he proceeded to wheelie for about a mile up the A316.
What a twat.
