Spike Jones was the original . an obvious forerunner to Weird Al Yankovich & every other "Dr. Dimento" song lineup song. He was an amazing script writer & twister of word, sound, & intonation.

My parents had Spike's LP "60 Years of Music America Hates Best," a parody of the RCA Victor LP "60 Years of Music America Loves Best." This tune was on it. I loved jacking up the volume when the lamb belched.
