Wildwood Park is a stunning nature preserve in Thousand Oaks, California. From Los Angeles, take Highway 101 North to the 23 North. Exit Avenida De Los Arboles. Go West on Arboles (Left) until the road ends. You will see the trailhead at the end of the road. Wildlife is abundant. I have scene rattle snakes, deer, coyote, hawks, owls and a bobcat in the area. It's a fantastic day hike. The highlight is a 50 foot waterfall aptly named Paradise Falls.

  • It's about 5 minutes from Cal Lutheran. They used to film old westerns in this park.

  • I love this place. It is great place for a day hike or a quick get away from everything and enjoy nature.

  • @bacpacbob I am so grateful to the leaders of Thousand Oaks for saving this beautiful area from development. It is truly majestic.

  • I love this park!!! Hiked there so many times. Even did the overnight with the rec center. Multiple night hikes. This place a good spot in my heart. I think I've been on all the trails.

  • @Horses0rats0peace You've got to hand it to the City for maintaining this beautiful open space. It is just a place of majestic beauty.

  • here they shot spartacus

  • @christos110 Are you serious?! That is amazing information. It looks like the backdrop for a Western but I didn't know they shot Spartacus there. Thank you!
