  • no its a normal 10 year overhaul for the boiler and as mayflower is the hardest to run (crew needed) we are using this time to bring it back to a good standard i.e hull paint and engine we would of been doing all this even if the museum was open

  • u getting all the exhibits ready for the museum reopening?

  • the boiler is from the steam tug mayflower that the museum got, the boiler was out for its 10 overhaul so we used the steam crane to lift the boiler out on to the wagon for the work to be done then in august we put the boiler back in the mayflower

  • might not be about remembering a certain boat just boats in general

  • but what boat would it be from

  • like i said a ship or a staic engine, the railway is part of the industrial museum so it could be theirs just stored on the railway

  • i thought it was but what could it be

  • its far too big to be from some industrial loco

  • its from there 3rd loco made in Fox Walker

  • wonder is that is an old ship boiler or from so staic engine
